Dia de los Muertos event marketing campaign

The Dia De Los Muer­tos event mar­ket­ing cam­paign was imple­ment­ed on a nation­al lev­el — designed to assist the Funer­al Homes and Ceme­ter­ies of the Dig­ni­ty Memo­r­i­al Net­work, to devel­op and imple­ment the Dia De Los Muer­tos (Day of the Dead) at their facil­i­ties. This cam­paign pri­mar­i­ly aimed to assist the Dig­ni­ty Memo­r­i­al providers in turn­ing their Dia De Los Muer­tos event into a lead gen­er­a­tion effort, and with a sec­ondary goal of cul­ti­vat­ing com­mu­ni­ty involve­ment and fos­ter­ing brand aware­ness with­in local His­pan­ic com­mu­ni­ties. As a result, this cam­paign suc­cess­ful­ly host­ed over 2000 atten­dees, gath­ered 524 qual­i­ty leads, and at that time, gen­er­at­ed $154,399.28 in sales. How­ev­er, the leads in their indus­try tend to mature with­in 180 days, thus, they pro­ject­ed to have had dou­bled in their sales with­in a cou­ple of months.

The Día de los Muer­tos is a hol­i­day that occurs on Novem­ber 2 in con­junc­tion with All Saints’ Day, and it is cel­e­brat­ed in Mex­i­co and in many com­mu­ni­ties with Latin pop­u­la­tions. This hol­i­day gath­ers friends and fam­i­ly to pray for and remem­ber the depart­ed.
